Dear Mr. Choco,
We at Onward Gaming are excited to have the opportunity to speak with you as the founder of Blood E-sports, a top Tier 1 battle royale team in Africa. Your talent and dedication to the gaming community is truly impressive, and we are grateful for the chance to learn more about your journey.
With that in mind, we have prepared a list of questions that we hope will provide some insight into your experiences as a manager and your thoughts on the competitive gaming world. We would be grateful if you could take the time to answer these questions to the best of your ability.
What inspired you to start Blood Esports, and what were your initial goals when you started the organization?
First, I would like to express my gratitude to Onward Gaming (OGR) for giving me this opportunity to talk about my journey in the African gaming community.
My name is Mr. Choco, and I have been a part of the gaming community for quite some time. Starting from my days as a competitive player for AE and Great Titans, I have always wanted to be a known figure in the community. To achieve this, I worked tirelessly to establish my name in the community. I created my own personal group chat to host free private lobbies for gamers, where the winners were always rewarded. My ultimate dream was to create a community where players get paid to do what they love.
As a result of my imagination and zeal for a better and awesome community, I created Blood Esports (4KTreyBloods) on December 18th, 2022.
Blood Esports has already achieved success in the esports industry in a relatively short amount of time. What do you think has been the key to your success in building and managing your teams?
The key to my success in the gaming community has been my way of engaging with my players’ lives outside the game. I understand that every player has a personal life and real-life issues. Therefore, I don’t just consider them as a team, but rather as my family. Though we might not be related by blood, we are bound to each other in one way or another. Thus, I always try my best to ensure that all my teams are happy.
Your organization has made significant contributions to the African Battle royal community by sponsoring events with prize pools. Can you tell us more about your involvement in the community and your goals for supporting it?
My involvement in the community is purely driven by love for the game and the growth of our community. I am amazed at the zeal and passion of the players, who, even without a server, strive and practice hard to be the best among the best. The community is already growing and will soon become an international sensation.
Blood Esports has been successful in building a strong brand and fan base in a short amount of time. What strategies have you used to create such a loyal following, and how do you engage with your audience?
The brand 4KT (4KTreyBlood) has created a strong and growing fan base in the community with our loyal fans. We have achieved this growth by being different and unique. Before starting your own clan, time is a key factor. You need time to bond with your members, socialize, and engage with the community to know what’s going on. Another key factor is being kind to the community in your own little way.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to start their own esports organization or team? What are some important factors to consider?
When I created Blood Esports (4KT), I faced different challenges and negative comments from other clans and managers, which I would rather not disclose. However, I persevered because I never gave up. Today, everywhere you look, it’s 4KT.
Blood Esports has been around for several months now. What are some of the organization’s proudest achievements, and what are your plans for the future of the organization?
I am proud to say that Blood Esports’s biggest achievement is Team Blood. They are players with awesome skills willing to dominate any scrimmage or tournament. I am also proud of my other five teams, especially my female team, consisting of brilliant ladies willing to give their all for the benefit of the clan. My ultimate plan is to make all my teams international competition players.
Finally, what message would you like to share with aspiring gamers and esports enthusiasts who may be looking up to you and your organization as a source of inspiration?
I believe that passion is the driving force behind success. What makes 4KT different from other clans is our unique style of playing. My players have an awesome team synergy and team spirit anytime they play. As part of my quest to make the community a better place, Blood Esports plans to start its own rankings soon. Finally, I urge gamers and individuals out there not to let anything or anyone weigh them down.
Thank you for taking the time to share your insights with us, Mr. Choco. Your dedication to building a successful esports organization and supporting the African esports community is truly inspiring. We appreciate your willingness to share your experiences and advice with our audience, and we wish you and Blood Esports continued success in the future.
